Game Three in the Springs, Then off to Meet Wilin

I headed down to the springs for the third time this year. Kourtney and I thought we would go down to see some of our favorite players since it had been a while! We showed up to the springs and waited in line for the gates to open. After the gates opened we went inside to see who if anyone was warming up. As we walked down to the field, Charlie Blackmon was walking by and said hey to us. Last time Kourt and I were at the springs I asked Charlie if he wanted to do Random Rox Talk still he said of course and asked if he wanted to do it now or later. So Kourt took my phone, hit record, and I proceeded to do Random Rox Talk. We have the Avengers theme happening this week that is why I have asked the question about the superheros.

If you could be sidekick to any superhero who would it be?

Charlie Blackmon: The Hulk

Favorite song to listen to before a game?

Charlie Blackmon: Remix Call me baby

Question 3:

Whats your biggest fear?

Charlie Blackmon: To lose his vision.

Question 4:

Tell me one thing most people do not know about you?

Charlie Blackmon: 90% of the stuff that he owns is in the back of his jeep.

Question 5:

Do you have any tattoos?

Charlie Blackmon: No, kind of scared of them. Also promised my mom when I was little that I would not get one.

After we got Random Rox Talk completed we ended up getting some autographs!

The game was actually a really good game but it was PACKED! It was Ft. Carson appreciation night and so there were a lot of people there. During the game we sat in the a section with a little league baseball team. I pulled out my baseball cards and they were amazed! I ended up giving them all a baseball card of different players which I rarely do. They kept Kourt and I entertained pretty much the whole game.

The Sox ended up losing 7-6 after giving up a 6 run lead in the 8th and 9th inning.

After the game was over I got a picture with all of them WITH their parents permission!

Kourt and I wanted to go out back for a little just to see if anyone would sign and to see if our friends that we met last time were out back getting graphs. Sure enough Conrad and Jack were out there and it was their birthday! They ended up getting a lot and I got a few on my Take From Blake sign! All in all it was a great night and we had a blast!

The next morning I headed to Groove Subaru where Wilin Rosario was doing a signing that morning. I ended up meeting up with Eric, Gary X and A, but also saw Smitty and his wife and Rockpile Ranter and his son Hunter.

Wilin was so nice and signed anything we had which was awesome! I ended up getting both of my cards signed and got a bat which he signed in purple! I think I’m going to make it my team bat for this year! Kyle Banister was also there selling his art that he did for Wilin, if you have not checked out Kyle’s work you need to it awesome!
